If you were born a few centuries earlier, urine would be a staple in your everyday chores. Bet.
Piss was actually so popular in Ancient Rome that it got capitalized and taxed back then.
So what happened in the last couple of thousand years?
Why are we flushing it all down, like some dirty matter?
Well, Arthur came up with an interesting concept:
Piss Soap – soap made entirely of human activity waste, including urine.
A project that calls for your hands and your mind to emerge into a unique experience.
But why tho?
For Arthur, urine soap is not just a way to blend the ancient use of piss and the tradition of greek cold process soap, and neither is it just a way of repurposing human waste.
Piss soap is a challenge for our society to redefine what we have been somehow taught to find disgusting.
So why should we be pissed? Not only is the product entirely organic. It is totally eco-friendly.
And quite frankly, why would a urine soap be more repelling than cosmetics tested on animals?
Maybe this is the time to redefine what is actually disgusting and gruesome, from what is natural from the dawn of time.
It’s time to fully embrace our bodies: not just how they look from the outside, but also from the inside.
